We already know that aluminum flag poles are impressive advertising media to draw attention to your company. In front of the store or company a flagpole presents the logo or trademark in an impressive way. But other advertisement can be hoisted on a flagpole as well in order to attract customers and target groups. If flagpoles are made of aluminum like those from Aluart, they often appear in either silver-gray or in white color. Silver-gray are the flagpoles for which the aluminum was anodized, whereas white flag poles are powder-coated with this color. The color white is referred to as RAL 9010.
What does RAL 9010 mean?
RAL – often heard but rarely explained. RAL refers to the National Committee for Delivery Conditions, an initiative that was founded in 1925 in Berlin in order to implement economization and regulations without troubling the legislator. This initiative created a table in 1927, which contained 40 colors with a number each. Since 1940 four-digit numbers are issued. Original RAL-colors, meanwhile about 213, are sold under the name RAL Classic by a subsidiary of the German Institute for Quality Assurance and Certification (RAL Institute).
Flagpoles from Aluart are available in many different colors. If you are looking for a flagpole that is not anodized or powder-coated in white, please contact us!
